The Birria Grilled cheese sandwich is literally the most delicious sandwich I have ever eaten! I would literally drive to Austin 2 times a week from SA to eat it again! Great customer and phenomenal food!

This place is delicious! I saw several Austin influencers posting about this spot and I've been wanting to try for a while so I finally did and I loved it! I had the Birria tacos with consome and the taco was flavorful, had delicious corn tortillas, loved the freshness of the onion and cilantro and they give you a green salsa too that was great. I also tried the Birria ramen and I am a basic and boring ramen eater but if you are someone who likes special ramen you will love it, it has great flavor but just not my cup of tea. Great place and definitely going back especially with such great prices!

Worth the hype. Worth the wait! Try everything they have on their limited beef birria menu and you won't be disappointed. Fresh corn tortillas that are a little larger than you'd expect. Soooo delicious! Will be back. Online ordering available, but give them an extra 30. Especially on weekends. They do run out sometimes.

Okokokok, sooooo! I USED to say this was the best birria in Austin hands down. BUT these queso birria tacos are definitely NOT the ones I was talking about. They're dry, no cheese on the outside of the tortilla and it was insanely salty. What happened Tunita? Did you get new cooks? Are you doing less grease and fry due to gringolandia complaining? I think your lack of lines shows that the food is not what it once was. Which is SUPER sad because I recommended anyone and everyone to you guys for at least the past two to three years but 😭 sadly that ended the day I received these dry queso tacos

This place is a delightful spot for street taco enthusiasts. Their tacos are crispy, delicious, and bursting with flavor. We tried the Grilled Cheese Birria Tacos, and they were delicious.

I ordered birria taco and consommé. Taco is great, but with the dipping it is phenomenal. Service is very friendly. The wait time for taco is about 10-15 mins. They have four tables for customers, so might also need to wait for a table.

First time trying La Tunita and WOW!!! Best Birria con queso taco I've had! And it pairs perfectly with consume. They recently added al pastor to the menu; however, when we arrived around 4:30pm on a Saturday they were sold out. Lesson learned to try earlier next time! We recently visited Los Angeles and tried consume for the first time at Carnitas el Momo, and have been craving it since. We're so lucky to have found a place in Austin that serves delicious consume (and tacos)!!! Definitely worth the drive South for these tacos and consume!

Queso Birria tacos were amazing with the consommé. The green and red sauce complimented it perfectly. I think this place would be way more popular if they opened beyond 6PM. Even 9PM. Dinner time is the TIME for tacos. Def would come again next time in Austin
